A Bluetooth pedal designed primarily for the stage... and now a standard for tablet control
The AirTurn DUO 500 was created as a simple solution for musicians who read on tablets and want to turn pages with their foot. Over generations, it has gained in range, battery life, and programming possibilities, becoming a true wireless controller to operate apps, shortcuts, macros, and MIDI commands, while maintaining one philosophy: zero mechanical noise and reliability built for the field.
Who is it for and what are the uses?
The DUO 500 is aimed at instrumentalists (guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, electronic drummers) as well as singers and conductors working with sheet music, lyrics, or teleprompters. In rehearsals, it simplifies scrolling and annotations. Live, it allows you to keep your hands on the instrument to start a metronome, pass a marker, start/stop a track, change scenes in an app or software. In the studio, it becomes a discreet ally to control a DAW with your foot (recording, playback, punch, markers) without disturbing the take.

Questions frequently asked
Does the AirTurn DUO 500 allow page turning on a tablet?
The seven built-in modes include arrow and Page Up/Down controls for scrolling sheet music, lyrics, or teleprompter. The connection is via Bluetooth, with an indicative range of up to 61 m depending on the environment and orientation.
Can it control MIDI software or a DAW with the foot?
The MIDI mode sends commands to a Bluetooth MIDI-compatible application. Custom mappings can also be created in the AirTurn app to control playback, recording, markers, or macros.
What settings are available for the two switches?
Each switch can have Momentary, Latching, Pulse, or Command behavior. The management app allows defining keystrokes, mouse clicks, macros, and MIDI commands, as well as auto-repeat and idle timeout.
Is the AirTurn pedal silent for studio use?
The switching is designed to be mechanically silent and the pedal does not affect the audio chain. Its size of 178 x 102 x 25 mm allows discreet control during a take.
What is the battery life and charging method for this Bluetooth pedal?
The rechargeable battery offers over 200 hours of autonomy per charge depending on usage. Charging is done via USB-C 5 V. LEDs indicate Bluetooth status and low battery level.
