The 1073DPX Enters the Hybrid Era
A direct evolution of the best-selling 1073DPX, the 1073DPX-D adds high-end conversion and USB/ADAT connectivity without sacrificing the warmth and musicality of the original 1073. Designed and assembled in Burnley, it becomes a true nerve center for professional studios, project setups, and mobile configurations.Who Is It For and What For?
The 1073DPX-D is aimed at producers, engineers, and artists who want "the" Neve color from tracking through mixing. Whether tracking mono or stereo, running stems through the preamps and EQ, or building a compact hybrid rig, it delivers the 1073 signature and immediate DAW integration for fixed studios, live, or on-the-go setups.Technical specifications

Questions frequently asked
Can the 1073DPX-D replace a USB audio interface?
The built-in 10x12 interface provides AD/DA conversion up to 192 kHz with USB or ADAT connectivity. Two ADAT modes are offered: USB/ADAT Hub Mode for centralizing the system and ADAT Audio Expander Mode for an existing interface. Four analog outputs and eight ADAT outputs are available for monitoring, outboard gear, and multichannel returns.
What equalizer is integrated on the two channels?
The 3-band inductive EQ includes bass and treble shelves of +/-16 dB, as well as a mid-band bell of +/-18 dB. A selectable high-pass filter completes the EQ section.
Can the 1073 preamps be used as inserts in a DAW?
DIGI I/O routing allows sending DAW tracks, instruments, or buses to the Class A preamps and EQ, then returning the signal via USB or ADAT. Marinair transformers contribute to the analog processing during mixing.
Is the monitoring latency-free?
Zero-latency hardware monitoring enables blending DAW playback with live inputs, with speaker control via the red Neve button and a dedicated headphone amplifier.
How many rack units does this console strip occupy?
In a 2U rack format, the unit combines two channels designed for mono or stereo tracking. The configuration suits a fixed studio, live setup, or mobile system.
