From the original Utopia (2015) to the Deluxe version: an evolution designed for musicians

Since 2015, the original Utopia has established itself as one of the most requested pedals at Anasounds: a simple, effective, and above all inspiring foundation. With the Utopia Deluxe, the idea was not to slap on a tap tempo "hastily," but to rebuild the architecture to go further: a new voicing, more musical, and a more refined use of the PT2399, known for its ability to produce warm, expressive, and very "instrumental" delays.

This Deluxe version positions itself as the "big" Utopia: the same playing philosophy, but with more creative control, greater comfort on stage, and real care given to texture (tone, preamp, modulation) to make the pedal a center of gravity on a pedalboard, not just another effect.

For whom, for which styles, and in what contexts?

The Anasounds Utopia Deluxe Delay is aimed at the guitarist (or bassist depending on your approach) who wants a delay capable of covering the essentials of modern playing: rhythms locked to tempo, lead lines with repeats that carry the note, wider atmospheres, and modulated textures without excess. The tap tempo and dotted eighth note subdivision make it particularly comfortable in rock, pop, and indie, whenever delay becomes part of the groove, in the spirit of repetitive and airy patterns popularized by certain "stadium" approaches.

In studio, the Tone setting and "guided" modulation via Bliss allow placing repeats in the mix: darker to support without overwhelming, or brighter for a clear presence. In live settings, the dedicated tap tempo and "hold" function (infinite repeats) facilitate transitions, song endings, and intensity builds without losing your playing flow.
