A Compact Converter Designed for Antelope Audio's High-End

The Amari follows Antelope Audio's tradition: a "mastering-grade" approach focused on conversion precision and clock quality. Its compact format, elegant chassis, and large touchscreen make it a studio piece as enjoyable to use as it is to integrate into setups dedicated to mixing, mastering, or audiophile listening. The presence of the 4th generation AFC highlights the evolution of the clock platform, designed to enhance transparency, soundstage depth, and stereo coherence throughout the signal chain.

Who the Amari Is For: Mixing, Mastering, and Critical Listening

Designed for environments where every detail matters, the Amari targets mix engineers who want to ensure their decisions (tonal balance, stereo image, reverbs), mastering engineers seeking stable, very high-resolution conversion, and demanding audiophiles who prioritize wide and controlled playback. Its architecture and connectivity allow it to be used both as a studio's main converter and as a high-end monitoring link, with analog and digital inputs suited for hybrid setups.

Key Features: Conversion, Clocking, and Headphone Monitoring

PCM Conversion at 384 kHz and DSD Playback up to DSD256

The Amari supports 24-bit audio up to 384 kHz for playback and recording, fully exploiting high-definition sessions and demanding workflows. On the DSD side, it plays back DSD64, DSD128, and DSD256 formats via DSD over PCM (DoP), convenient for audiophile libraries and maximum-resolution comparison listening. The conversion section features an ambitious topology with dual A/D conversion (dynamic range rated at 128 dB) and octuple D/A conversion (dynamic range rated at 138 dB), preserving micro-details, dynamics, and transient stability.

4th Generation 64-bit AFC Clock, Word Clock, and 10 MHz Input

At the heart of the Amari, Antelope Audio's " Acoustically Focused Clocking " (AFC) aims to reduce jitter and better focus the signal, with 64-bit control and a 4th generation architecture. For professional integration, the unit offers a Word Clock input and a 10 MHz atomic clock input (compatible with the 10MX), allowing you to synchronize your entire studio to a common reference and optimize sampling stability in multi-device setups.

Two High-Power Headphone Amplifiers with Adjustable Output Impedance

Antelope Audio equips the Amari with two headphone outputs designed for critical listening: each has a dedicated volume control and a selectable output impedance (17 values, including negative values, according to specifications), to tailor the amplification behavior to your headphones' characteristics. The Amari also offers switching to balanced mode and standard or balanced modes to refine playback, separation, and headroom depending on your setup.

Direct Control: Touchscreen, Physical Controls, and Mac/PC Software

To speed up workflow, the Amari combines potentiometers and buttons for common actions, a comfortable touchscreen for accessing advanced functions and visualization, and a software control panel compatible with Mac and PC. This approach facilitates fine monitoring adjustments, level management, and access to advanced features without interrupting production flow.
