Ideal for clubs and audiophile bars, reggae, jazz, soul, or disco selectors, and home DJs focused on "selection and seamless mixing," this turntable excels in Hi-Fi playback and fixed installations. Its chassis and highly damped feet promote detailed listening at sustained volume levels. However, it is not designed for intensive scratching performances.
Features and Innovations
Fully manual, the AT-LP140XP combines a high-stability direct drive motor with a molded aluminum platter that is damped and anti-resonant. The S-shaped tonearm offers comprehensive adjustments (VTA, tracking force, anti-skating) and comes ready to play with the DJ cartridge AT-XP3 (0.6 mil conical stylus) pre-mounted on the AT-HS6 headshell. The tempo fader provides three pitch ranges (+/-8%, +/-16%, +/-24%) with quartz lock and forward/reverse playback. Designed for the phono inputs of your mixers and amplifiers, it delivers a 5.5 mV phono signal via a detachable dual RCA cable. Additional features include removable stylus illumination, a stroboscopic platter, a protective dust cover, and complete accessories for immediate setup. Available in black (AT-LP140XP-BK) or silver (AT-LP140XP-SV).
