High-End Hybrid Inspired by the PLX-1000 Reference
Designed to combine the best of digital and analog, the "PLX-CRSS12" adopts the ergonomics of classic turntables while integrating a Digital Vinyl mode without using the tonearm. It builds on the sonic heritage of the PLX-1000, featuring robust construction and special attention to vibration isolation for faithful reproduction, both on stage and in fixed installations.Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?
Ideal for turntablists, open-format DJs, and demanding sound engineers, this turntable excels in clubs, battles, mobile DJing, and professional installations. In analog mode, it offers the comfort of a pro vinyl turntable; in DVS mode, it guarantees exemplary stability for intensive scratching and creative performances, even without a mixer equipped with pads.Features and Innovations
The MAGVEL CLAMP transforms the record into a true DVS controller while preserving the vinyl touch, while the "weight" dial adjusts resistance under the fingers. Motor torque is adjustable in the Utility menu, and a front panel selector offers 3 stop speeds. Four assignable Performance Pads with 1-4/5-8 switching provide direct access to Hot Cues, samples, and advanced functions. Native support for Serato DJ Pro modes (Hot Cue, Sampler, Stems, Scratch Bank, Roll, Saved Loop) and rekordbox (Hot Cue, Sampler, Track Separation, Sample Scratch, Pad FX1, Beat Jump). The OLED screen displays tempo range, key, BPM, turntable number, software in use, and allows quick parameter adjustments without taking your eyes off the turntable. The audio design features a low-noise switching power supply, a dual-material anti-resonance chassis, and gold-plated RCA terminals. The MAGVEL CLAMP is replaceable and stored in its dedicated slot. Matte black finish with specific coatings for an elegant yet road-ready aesthetic. Aaaaah pioneer!!!! A Plx1000 merged with the Reloop rp8000!! Intuitive screen with bpm value, software selection (serato/rekordbox) or analog version for purists! Plate positioned vertically (battle mode) the MAGVEL CLAMP is huge!!!! No need to damage your cells, in addition the sensitivity is adjustable in the style of a CDJ
A beautiful beast of skill!! However I would have liked a vertical pitch like on the TTX from Numark and in terms of the connections I would have liked the power supply to be in the same place as the RCA but hey it's to quibble a bit.
It is sublime and complete
