With the B&S Prodige, the Buffet Crampon Group expands its family of student instruments by offering its first Prodige trumpet. The goal is clear: to enable beginner trumpeters and discerning amateurs to access an instrument inspired by the professional acoustic world while maintaining a reasonable budget. The Prodige is the result of a deliberate and controlled industrial organization: design and research in German workshops, production tooling in France, then assembly and finishing within the Buffet Crampon Wind manufacture in China, with a dual level of quality control (at the factory and then in distribution subsidiaries).

Its handmade brass bell promotes clear and homogeneous projection, while the 11.68 mm bore provides a balance between breath comfort, note control, and versatility. The strong point of this model lies in its two mouthpipes : the standard mouthpipe emphasizes precision and centering sensation, while the reversed rose brass mouthpipe adds a feeling of openness and fluidity, appreciated as the player gains power and freedom of expression. Mechanically, the 3 monel pistons enhance durability and smooth action, a real plus for daily practice.
