From the Seabee Harmochorus to the Seabee Lite: Beetronics DNA, in a direct version

The Seabee Lite takes up the idea that made the Seabee successful: an analog chorus based on a bucket brigade line, with an organic sense of movement and very inspiring stereo width. While the Seabee Harmochorus went further with harmonic processing, the Lite focuses on the essentials of chorus and vibrato, with a more immediate approach designed for "playing" rather than programming. The result: it retains the boutique Beetronics character (texture, depth, personality), but with a user-friendly interface that fits easily into any pedalboard.

A modulation pedal designed for stage, studio, and modern pedalboards

The Seabee Lite is aimed equally at guitarists seeking a vintage chorus to thicken a clean tone, and musicians oriented towards indie, post-rock, or ambient who want a more expressive, almost "living" modulation. In the studio, it shines for doubling rhythm parts, widening arpeggios, or adding immediate depth to a track without drowning it. Live, preset recall and stereo outputs quickly become indispensable: you can switch from a discreet "always-on" chorus to a pronounced wobble on a bridge without adjusting any knobs.
Thanks to the input level control, the Seabee Lite is not limited to guitar: it stays clean and balanced with bass (avoiding muddiness in the low end), powerful humbuckers, active pickups, or even machines and synths. It's typically the kind of pedal that becomes a sonic signature because it follows your dynamics and responds finely to your attack, rather than imposing a uniform effect.

Controls, presets, MIDI, and stereo: "plug and play" modulation without sacrificing depth

The heart of the Seabee Lite lies in three modulation modes, each with its own personality. The Classic mode offers a very smooth chorus based on a triangle waveform, ideal for clean sounds, open chords, and wide pads. Flangee adds a more "jet" dimension thanks to flanger-style feedback: perfect for adding bite to a rhythm or making a line stand out in the mix. Wobblee ventures into irregular, more unstable modulation, with a "worn tape" vibe that gives a lo-fi charm and a floating pitch sensation.
The Chorus / Vibee switch is a real bonus: in Chorus mode, you keep your direct sound while adding movement; in Vibee mode, the effect is 100% modulated for a deeper, more "vocal" vibrato, ideal for intros, melodic lines, or psychedelic textures. Another very musical feature: the built-in filter acts on the effect (wet) signal with Band Pass, Flat, and High Pass positions, allowing you to avoid overwhelming lows, maintain definition, or concentrate energy on a frequency range that "cuts through" better.
For advanced setups, the Seabee Lite ticks all the boxes: 16 presets to organize your sounds, MIDI for controlling changes and automation, and an expression input to control a parameter in real time. Add to that the stereo outputs (with routing options), and you get a pedal that fits just as well in a two-amp rig as in an interface/DAW setup or a pedalboard controlled by a controller.

Sound Character

The Seabee Lite has the typical depth of bucket brigade choruses: a rich, slightly textured movement, never clinical, with modulation that "breathes" and adds depth without erasing the instrument's character. At moderate settings, it provides elegant width and a very flattering doubling effect. When pushing Depth and playing with Feedback in Flangee mode, you get more pronounced dips and peaks, almost metallic, perfect for 80's colors or more aggressive passages.
The Wobblee mode gives the most personality: the irregular modulation creates a believable instability, as if the sound were passing through an old tape machine or a slightly warped vinyl. Coupled with Vibee mode, it enters deliberately "warped" textures, ideal for ambient, experimental, lo-fi, or simply to animate a static sound. And with the filter, you can keep the low end well controlled (very useful on bass) while maintaining the sense of width and life in the upper spectrum.
