A Classic Compact Delay, Updated for Today
In the world of guitar delay pedals, the DD-3 has established itself as a benchmark for its straightforward approach: set it, play, and the delay integrates immediately with riffs or solos. The BOSS DD-3T continues this "plug and play" philosophy and modernizes the ergonomics with highly anticipated features for today's pedalboards, without betraying the simple and effective spirit that made the DD series famous.
The result is a compact, reliable digital delay designed for both live performance and studio use, with immediate usability and musicality that doesn't encourage over-adjusting.
An Accessible Delay, From First Pedalboards to Pro Rigs
The DD-3T is aimed equally at musicians looking for their first reliable delay and experienced guitarists seeking a compact pedal that's quick to dial in. It excels on rock and pop rhythms, more spacious blues lines, '80s-style leads, and light indie atmospheres.
On stage, the Tap Tempo helps lock the tempo without interrupting the song. In the studio, its clear controls allow you to quickly find a musical setting, whether you want a subtle slapback, a well-timed solo delay, or longer, more airy repeats.

Questions frequently asked
What delay time range does the Boss DD-3T offer?
The delay time ranges from 12.5 to 800 ms and is divided into three segments via the MODE setting. The TIME knob then allows fine adjustment of the selected duration.
Can the Tap Tempo be used with an external footswitch?
The Tap Tempo can be accessed from the built-in switch or through an external footswitch. This footswitch is not included and must be purchased separately.
Is it possible to create loops with this pedal?
The Short Loop mode allows creating short loops in the spirit of the Hold function of the DD-3. This feature can be used to freeze a phrase or build a repetitive texture.
How to wire the DD-3T for Wet/Dry setup?
The Direct output allows separating the dry signal from the processed signal for a Wet/Dry setup. This configuration can feed two amplifiers or two mixing console inputs.
What power supply is required for the DD-3T?
The power supply requires a compatible BOSS PSA series adapter, sold separately, via the DC IN jack. A 9 V alkaline battery type 6LR61 can also be used depending on the packaging.
