Breedlove Discovery S Concert Bass

Eco Collection: When Breedlove Luthiery Commits

With the Eco Collection, Breedlove highlights a vision where the guitar (and here the acoustic bass) fits into a more responsible approach, without compromising the brand's sound quality standards. The Discovery S Concert Bass Edgeburst CE carries this DNA: a modern aesthetic, careful playability, and an acoustic balance designed to adapt to the musician, whether playing fingerstyle or with a pick.

For Which Bassists and Styles?

This electro-acoustic acoustic bass is particularly aimed at beginner to intermediate bassists who want an inspiring instrument for playing at home, accompanying an acoustic guitar, or quickly plugging in at rehearsals. Its Concert size promotes comfort, and its versatile character suits pop, folk, light rock, blues, and "unplugged" accompaniment where a round, non-aggressive foundation is sought.

Sound

The solid European spruce top provides a quick and clear response: the attack stands out clearly, helping to maintain definition even on low notes. The mahogany back and sides complement the whole with a warmer and more homogeneous tone, ideal for a present and musical low midrange. Once plugged in, the Fishman Presys I electronics allow you to retain this identity and easily switch from soft fingerstyle playing to a more forceful attack, while maintaining a balanced sound foundation.
