A Buffet Crampon Mouthpiece Designed for Learning
A key reference in the clarinet world, Buffet Crampon offers here a mouthpiece oriented towards "pedagogy": a direct and stable response, and a robust design suited for beginners. The goal is clear: to provide a reassuring, durable, and consistent mouthpiece to support the first years, where regularity and ease of playing make all the difference. For Whom, and in Which Styles?
This mouthpiece is primarily aimed at beginners and young musicians (Bb or A clarinet), especially in conservatories or wind ensembles. Its ease of play is well suited to learning repertoires: classical, film music, pop, and marching band/wind ensemble, offering quick handling and more comfortable progression.Sound and Design
Thanks to its moderate tip opening, this mouthpiece promotes easy sound production and natural control, useful for stabilizing attack and sound sustain. The acrylic material provides a consistent feel and good resistance to everyday minor impacts. The result: a mouthpiece that helps work on intonation, breath continuity, and homogeneity, while maintaining an "easy-going" approach for the early stages.Recommended Compatible Accessories
To get the most out of this mouthpiece, consider pairing it with reeds suited to your clarinet (Bb or A) and a ligature compatible with clarinet. If you are unsure about the size (Bb/A clarinet, ligature model), it is best to verify the exact format before purchase to ensure optimal tightening.Technical specifications
