Buffet Crampon MOUTHPIECE URBAN PLAY GREEN

Buffet Crampon: demanding quality for clarinetists

Buffet Crampon is a key brand in the clarinet world, known for its instruments and accessories designed to support musicians at every stage. This mouthpiece follows a clear logic: to offer a reliable, durable, and reassuring solution, particularly suited for beginners, where ease of response and consistency are essential for progress.

For whom, and in which styles?

This Buffet Crampon mouthpiece is primarily aimed at beginners and young clarinetists looking for an easy-to-handle mouthpiece. It is very suitable for classical (tone work, studies, school repertoire), but also for marching band and pop, thanks to its ease of play and daily stability.

Sound and design

With a 1.19 mm tip opening and a 17.5 mm table length, this mouthpiece favors a quick response and accessible sound production, which helps secure note attacks and gain comfort in the air column. Its acrylic material provides a pleasant feel in the mouth and good consistency, while the very durable design aims to preserve the table from wear, maintaining a regular response longer. In terms of looks, the sparkling green color adds an original touch, with other colors available depending on stock.

Recommended compatible accessories

To get the best from this mouthpiece, plan for B-flat clarinet reeds if you play a B-flat clarinet, or A clarinet reeds if you play an A clarinet (reed compatibility depends on the instrument). A clarinet mouthpiece ligature and a mouthpiece cap can also complete the setup, provided you choose a model suited to your mouthpiece size.
