Keyboard Design

The Casio PX-S6000 features an 88-key digital keyboard with intelligent hybrid hammer action, combining advanced mechanics and digital control to achieve a natural, precise, and nuanced response. The white keys are made of spruce wood composite and resin, providing a more organic feel, with an ivory grain type finish, while the black keys have a matte finish inspired by ebony. To refine articulation, the instrument offers dedicated settings (Hammer Response, Key Off Response, Key Off Simulator) and graded behavior across the keyboard length, providing familiar landmarks for pianists, from singing legato to more percussive staccato.

Sound Quality

The multidimensional Morphing AiR sound engine is designed to reproduce detailed and musical pianos, with resonances inspired by an acoustic instrument and subtle timbre evolution depending on playing time and dynamics. The PX-S6000 also emphasizes the listening experience with its Spatial Sound System and four speakers: the goal is to achieve a wide sound field despite a compact chassis, whether practicing at home or performing for a small audience. Finally, its library of 350 tones covers essentials (acoustic and electric pianos, organs, strings, and more), allowing easy transition from classical repertoire to pop, jazz, or accompaniment.

Built-in Effects

The PX-S6000 is designed to shape sound without external gear: 100 DSP effects to color tones, room simulation and reverb to add depth and presence, a Surround mode (3 types) that adjusts the distribution of the four speakers, and 25 microphone effects dedicated to voice processing via the MIC IN input (useful for rehearsing, streaming, or hosting a performance).
