Analog double preamp inspired by D-Style amplifiers, with two channels offering complementary voicings. Extremely dynamic response: the saturation follows the pick attack and guitar volume, with amplifier-like behavior. New Ratio control on channel 2 for blending the clean signal back in, preserving punch and finely adjusting the compression. Four-jack routing allows you to use the Gladio MK3 as two independent pedals or as two gain stages to stack.
The long-awaited return of the D-Style double preamp
Discontinued at the end of 2022, the original Gladio retained a special place among guitarists seeking organic feel and high-end saturation. The Cornerstone Gladio MK3 marks the return of this dual-channel format, revised in response to feedback from users of the first version. Its concept remains faithful to the series’ DNA: reproducing the harmonic richness, smoothness and responsiveness of the renowned D-Style amplifiers. These amplifiers are associated with guitarists such as Robben Ford, whose blues, jazz-rock and fusion playing relies heavily on nuance, dynamics and the ability of an overdriven sound to remain articulate.
Rather than a conventional overdrive, the Gladio MK3 behaves like a true double preamp. It allows you to shape two distinct gain levels, achieve a thicker clean sound, a singing crunch or more pronounced saturation, without losing the direct connection between your fingers and the amplifier.
