An Exceptional Model in the KX Series

Designed for the modern guitarist, the KX700TT2 sits at the top of the Cort KX range with premium choices rarely seen at this level: True Temperament fretting, active Fishman Fluence pickups, Schaller Hannes bridge, and gold hardware. This ultra-limited edition for France makes it both a high-performance and "collector" piece for stage and studio use.

Who Is This Guitar For?

Ideal for intermediate to expert musicians, it excels in styles demanding precision and dynamics: modern metal, prog, djent, technical rock, fusion. The double cutaway, 24 frets, and D-profile neck favor speed and access to high notes, while the coil-split opens up clearer textures for funk, pop, or crystalline arpeggios.

Sound

The combination of mahogany (body) and ash (top) delivers rich mids, firm lows, and well-defined attacks. The Fishman Fluence pickups provide a modern, precise, and noise-free tone, with switchable voicings to go from a powerful, compressed humbucker to a more open register. The mini-switch Full Humbucker / Coil-Split adds single-coil colors, useful for snappy cleans or articulated crunches. The Schaller Hannes, renowned for its vibrational transfer and ergonomics, optimizes sustain and playing comfort.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve the original feel, choose D'Addario EXL110 (10-46) strings, exactly the gauge installed at the factory. Add a wide electric guitar strap for stable support on stage. The guitar comes with a premium gig bag.
