The Premier Tammany adopts the elegant aesthetic dear to D'Angelico and applies it to a modern acoustic guitar, designed to be as enjoyable to play at home as to plug in on stage. The Orchestra format emphasizes balance and definition, while the equipment (Fishman preamp, "C" neck, dovetail joint) aims for smooth handling and immediate musical response.

This D'Angelico is aimed at serious beginner to intermediate guitarists who want a versatile acoustic, easy to tame and ready for amplification. Its Orchestra format is particularly suited for fingerstyle, pop, folk, vocal accompaniment, as well as precise chord rhythms. The 25" / 635 mm scale length and 42.8 mm / 1.69" nut width offer a good compromise between comfort and tuning stability.

Sound

The solid spruce top provides clarity, attack, and dynamics, with a nice volume reserve when played loudly. The sapele back and sides enhance the midrange and give a warm tone, ideal for bringing out vocals or arpeggiated playing. The Orchestra format favors note-to-note definition and register balance, with controlled bass and precise projection.

Plugged in, the Fishman Sonitone electronics (volume and tone controls) allow quick adjustment of level and brightness without altering the acoustic character. It's a simple setup, perfect for stage, rehearsal, or recording via an instrument input.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To stay as close as possible to the original feel, you can use a set of 12-53 acoustic strings (such as the factory-installed D'Addario EXP-16). For amplification, a mono jack cable is necessary thanks to the standard jack chassis.
