The EQ section consists of a Tilt (a "tilt" equalizer) and a Mids control. The Tilt acts as a global spectral balance: on one side you thicken and darken, on the other you open up and add brightness, all while remaining very musical. The Mids control allows you to cut for more air and spaciousness or boost to make the guitar stand out in a busy mix, especially in a band setting.

The 2-position Attack switch is the cherry on top: it adapts the compression feel to your playing. In fast mode, the attack is snappier and transients are controlled, perfect for tight funk or precise picking. In softer mode, the response is more transparent and longer, ideal for swelling sustain without a "pumping" sensation.

Finally, the pedal features an analog audio path with Burr-Brown components, custom American opto-isolators, modern silent footswitches, and relay true bypass. The top-mounted jacks facilitate integration on compact pedalboards.

Sound Signature

The Diamond signature is an organic sounding optical compression: smooth smoothing, a more "stable" playing feel, and dynamics that remain musical even when pushing the Comp control.
