An Electro-Acoustic Designed to Play Anywhere
The PCH1-GACE Natural follows a pragmatic approach: offering a reliable electro-acoustic guitar that is pleasant to handle and ready for amplification. Its luthiery combines a solid top (for response and projection) with laminated sapele back and sides (for stability), all in a satin finish that promotes a natural grip and a sober look.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
This guitar is aimed at beginner to intermediate guitarists who want a versatile acoustic that is immediately usable when plugged in. It is well suited for folk, pop, singer-songwriter accompaniment styles, as well as for both strumming and fingerstyle playing. The "C" profile neck and ovangkol fingerboard offer a familiar feel, ideal for long practice sessions without fatigue.
Sound
The solid Sitka spruce top provides clarity, a crisp attack, and a good dynamic range: the more you play, the more it responds. The X-Braced bracing contributes to overall balance by supporting projection and note sustain. The laminated sapele back and sides favor a stable and consistent response, useful when alternating between acoustic playing and amplification. When plugged in, the Fishman electronics deliver clear definition for chords, with a coherent output for both rhythm playing and arpeggios.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To stay as close as possible to the original setup and intended feel, prefer a set of strings D'Addario .012-.053 #EXP16, identical to the factory-installed ones.
