What Symphonic Choirs Platinum Plus / Vota Is For
Symphonic Choirs Platinum Plus / Vota is designed to integrate credible cinematic choirs into your productions: film music, video games, trailers, classical orchestration, epic sound design, or pop arrangements requiring realistic choral color. Thanks to WordBuilder, it's not just about "ooh/ahh": you can build sung phrases and control them via keyboard, speeding up composition and orchestral mockups, even under tight deadlines.
Main Features
Integrated WordBuilder for sung lyrics
The WordBuilder module, integrated into the EastWest Opus software, allows you to type words and have the choir perform them. A dropdown menu offers preconstructed phrases ready to load, optimized for each vocal ensemble. You can also customize this menu by adding your own phrases for quick access during sessions.
Three microphone positions to sculpt space
The Platinum edition is based on a "orchestral studio" approach with Close (presence and precision), Stage (conductor's perspective), and Hall (breadth and natural decay). The mixing of positions is done on screen and allows you to achieve an organic ambiance tailored to your mix, from intimate to grandiose.
Articulations and performance engine for natural playability
The interface highlights enhanced articulation control and an Intelligent Performance section (Portamento, Repetition, Legato, Round Robin Reset). An intelligent release trail engine follows the sample volume on note-on to ensure coherent note endings, even during significant modulation wheel movements.
Convolution Reverb and ambiance control
The engine includes a Convolution Reverb with pre-delay and a Master control that can route the reverb to all instruments within an instance. The convolution also includes the recording hall where the choir was captured, useful for finely adjusting the sense of space and coherence with an orchestra.
