Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The EQ4 is designed as a modern performance-oriented head, created to offer an immediate balance between attack, bass, and controlled resonance. Its approach with an integrated muffler places it among effective solutions for quickly achieving a usable sound, both live and in recording.
Who This Drum/Instrument Is For
This head is aimed at drummers from beginners to advanced who want an easy-to-tune bass drum. Ideal for Rock (22 and 24) for a massive kick, and very suitable for Jazz/Fusion (18 and 20) for a more precise and articulated bass.
Features and Innovations
Thanks to its floating internal muffler, the EQ4 helps you balance attack and harmonics, with controlled resonance while maintaining depth in the low end.
Sound
The single-ply construction promotes a lively and defined response, while the muffler enhances the punch feel and stabilizes sustain. Result: full attack, plenty of bass, and a clear low end, particularly effective when miked.
