A Fender Evolution Serving the Precision Bass Character
Designed around the Cobalt Chrome pickups and configured by Tim Shaw, this Precision Bass pickup set relies on a proprietary FeCrCo alloy. The goal is clear: to preserve the iconic "split-coil" DNA while delivering a crisper, more modern, and more precise response-ideal for adding definition to a bass that lacks impact.
For Which Bassists and Styles?
This Precision Bass pickup is aimed at musicians seeking an immediate upgrade without losing the P-Bass feel. Perfect for rock, pop, punk, soul, or funk, it highlights a clear attack and solid foundation while remaining musical across dynamics: fingerstyle, pick playing, palm-muting, or more dynamic passages both live and in the studio.
More Punch, More Clarity, Less Noise
Thanks to its Cobalt Chrome magnets (FeCrCo alloy), the pickup delivers an ultra-clear and more impactful sound, with generous dynamics that follow your right-hand variations. The chrome cover not only improves the look but also contributes to shielding to reduce unwanted noise and prevent ground loops. The result: the split-coil remains powerful and articulate while preserving melodic lows and a well-defined tone in the mix.
