A Stratocaster Designed for Modern Playing
This Player II Modified Stratocaster follows the lineage of Strats designed to meet the demands of today's guitarists: familiar feel with targeted improvements in reliability, noise reduction, and versatility. The Dusk finish and 4-ply white pearl pickguard provide a premium visual identity while retaining the Stratocaster DNA.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Ideal for intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a versatile Strat that is stable on stage and effective in the home studio. Thanks to noiseless pickups and the 5-position selector, it easily covers funk, pop, rock, indie, blues, and more modern textures, with clear tones defined as well-articulated crunches.
The Tone
The alder body offers the classic Strat balance: sharp attack, present mids, and controlled lows, perfect for precise rhythms and leads that cut through the mix. The three Player II Noiseless Strat pickups retain the "single coil" character (clarity, brightness, dynamics) while greatly reducing background noise-a real plus with pedals or higher gain settings. The improved electronics with Master Volume Treble-Bleed maintain brightness when lowering the volume. The push/pull on Tone 2 adds the neck pickup, opening additional combinations for thicker, more enveloping sounds beyond traditional Strat positions.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
This guitar comes factory-equipped with Fender USA 250L (.009-.042) strings: to maintain the same feel and balance of the 2-point vibrato, staying with a 9-42 gauge is recommended. The Deluxe Gig Bag is included for daily transport and protection.

Questions frequently asked
Are the pickups on this Stratocaster noiseless?
The three Player II Noiseless Strat pickups greatly reduce background noise while maintaining the clarity and dynamics associated with single-coil pickups. This SSS configuration is suitable for clean tones as well as articulated crunch sounds.
What does the push/pull do on the Fender Stratocaster Player II Modified RW Dusk?
The push/pull on the Tone 2 control adds the neck pickup to the 5-way selector switch positions. This allows access to thicker, more rounded combinations beyond the usual Strat positions.
Which string gauge should be chosen to maintain the original setup?
The original setup uses Fender USA 250L strings in .009-.042. A 9-42 gauge allows preservation of the initial feel and balance of the two-point synchronized tremolo.
Does the tremolo hold tuning well?
Tuning stability is supported by Deluxe Cast/Sealed locking tuners with short posts, a TUSQ nut, and a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge. The beveled tremolo block and solid saddles are part of this setup.
Which gig bag is supplied with this guitar?
A Deluxe Gig Bag is included for daily transport and protection.
