Vintage Telecaster spirit reimagined for todayâs requirements
The American Professional Classic Telecaster retains the features that have shaped the Telecasterâs identity: a streamlined silhouette, an alder body, a string-through-body bridge and two single-coil pickups with a direct, assertive character. However, it stands out with features designed for todayâs musicians, including a smoother-feeling neck, staggered tuners and noiseless electronics with no battery required.
This professional electric guitar preserves the direct attack and charm of historic Fender instruments, while offering a more worry-free experience in the studio, on stage or in environments with a high level of interference. Its high-gloss urethane finishing on the body, satin neck and mint green pickguard enhance its vintage-inspired aesthetic.
A versatile Telecaster for the stage, the studio and nuanced playing
This Telecaster is aimed at intermediate guitarists as well as experienced musicians looking for a reliable, expressive and easy-to-play electric guitar. The Modern " C " profile offers a comfortable grip for open chords as well as fast phrases, bends and double-stop playing.
Its sonic identity naturally suits country, blues, classic rock, indie, pop and funk. Thanks to its noiseless electronics and straightforward control layout, it also fits precise studio recording applications. The three-way pickup selector makes it easy to switch from a biting bridge sound to rounder neck pickup textures, with a particularly well-balanced middle position.
Vintage single-coil sparkle without unwanted hum
The alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation, with present mids, defined highs and sufficiently firm lows to preserve playing clarity. Combined with the maple neck and rosewood key, it encourages a crisp attack, good sustain and articulate response, which is particularly enjoyable with clean or lightly overdriven tones.
The two Coastline '63 Telecaster single-coil pickups deliver the expected blend of twang, brightness and responsiveness. The bridge pickup is incisive and punchy, making it ideal for cutting rhythm parts and solos that need to stand out in the mix. The neck pickup adds more warmth and depth, while the combined position offers a clear, lively and versatile balance.
The Fender Silent System effectively reduces the background noise typical of single-coil pickups, without a power supply or battery, while preserving the guitarâs organic character. The Greasebucket tone circuit, meanwhile, lets you soften the highs without excessively increasing the bass content, for more precise settings with an amplifier, effect pedals or light overdrive.
Recommended compatible accessories
The guitar comes with a Deluxe Gig Bag, making it practical for everyday travel. For enhanced protection, a Classic Series Stratocaster/Telecaster hardshell case is compatible with this Telecaster format. As a replacement or to vary the string gauge, it accepts six-string electric guitar strings; it comes fitted from the factory with a .009-.042 nickel-plated set. A strap can also be added for playing while standing.
