The Fishman M-300 Nashville Series kit follows the philosophy of the M200 series, with pickup and mounting solutions designed for the mandolin, but adopts a slightly different pickup. Placed in the lower part of the bridge, it emphasizes definition and clarity, ideal for capturing the typical attack and articulation of the mandolin when amplified.

Designed for archtop mandolins, the M-300 targets musicians who want a reliable, ready-to-play sound with a more precise rendering than some "rounder" piezo solutions. It can be plugged directly into an amplifier but reveals its full potential with a suitable preamp (for example, Platinum or ToneDEQ types) to gain control, dynamics, and tonal balance.
Ceramic piezo pickup integrated into the bridge: attack, balance, and accessible installation
The M-300 is based on a ceramic piezo pickup molded into the lower part of an adjustable Gibson-style bridge. Connection is made via a female 6.35mm Jack socket, and the kit comes with a mounting system for the mandolin's side to secure the installation. Installation is described as simple, but bridge adjustment (notably fitting to the top and allowance for filing and adapting) must be done carefully: if in doubt, it is recommended to entrust this step to a dealer or luthier.
