The USB connection works plug-and-play on macOS. On Windows, an optimized ASIO/WDM driver is provided.
How many ADAT channels are available depending on the sampling rate?
At 44.1 or 48 kHz, 16 bidirectional ADAT channels are available via USB. At 88.2 or 96 kHz, the capacity is 8 bidirectional ADAT channels. At 176.4 or 192 kHz, ADAT is not supported.
How many analog inputs and outputs are accessible via USB?
The interface provides 10 analog inputs and 10 analog outputs via USB up to 96 kHz. Four additional outputs can power the D510mx headphone mixer card when installed.
What USB latency is obtained with a buffer of 32 samples?
With a 32-sample buffer at 96 kHz, the round-trip USB latency reaches 5.1 ms on Mac and 3 ms on Windows in Safe Off mode.
Are Word Clock routing and synchronization provided?
Switching between USB and ADAT sources is done from the front panel. Independent routing of inputs and outputs is available, with Word Clock input and output for synchronization.
