A Modern Controller in the Heritage Audio Spirit
Designed as a compact desktop control center, the R.A.M. 1000 embodies a truly "studio-ready" approach: ease of use, generous connectivity, and instantly accessible functions. Its unique feature is integrating essential uses in current production environments, notably Bluetooth listening, without losing the DNA of a professional monitoring controller: fully balanced analog inputs and outputs, stepped level control for reproducibility, and dedicated controls to quickly check mix compatibility and balance.
For Whom and What: From Demanding Home Studios to Medium-Sized Studios
The Heritage Audio R.A.M. 1000 is aimed at self-recording musicians, artistic directors, sound engineers, and content creators who want more ergonomic monitoring than simple software volume control. It is particularly relevant if you juggle multiple sources (audio interface, Bluetooth player, digital instrument, DAW return) and multiple listening setups (speaker pairs, control listening, headphones), while maintaining a clear signal path and intuitive routing logic.
During recording, the ability to separate the listening level from the level sent to the recorder is a real advantage: you adjust your listening comfort without risking changing the level going to the input. In mixing, the MONO, DIM, and MUTE functions quickly become indispensable for validating balance, checking stereo image, or instantly lowering the level during speech.

Questions frequently asked
Does the Heritage Audio R.A.M. 1000 support Bluetooth aptX HD?
The Bluetooth module supports the aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, AAC, and SBC codecs. This input notably allows playback from a compatible device without a wired connection.
Can Output 1 send a fixed level to the recorder?
On OUTPUT 1, the REC mode separates the sent level from the MASTER LEVEL control. The selected inputs are then transmitted at a stable level for recording. Conversely, the MON mode allows this output to follow the main monitoring level.
How is the monitoring volume adjusted?
A 24-position rotary switch, with 3 dB steps, enables reproducible listening levels from one session to another. The MASTER LEVEL control provides the main level adjustment.
Does the R.A.M. 1000 have mono, dim, and mute functions?
The MONO, DIM, and MUTE controls respectively allow compatibility with mono, level reduction, and immediate muting of the monitoring.
How is the controller powered and what cables are included?
Power is supplied via USB-C through an external power supply. A USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable are included.
