CAD208: A Module Designed for High-Attendance Installations

Intended for theaters, places of worship, gymnasiums, conference centers, lobbies, stadiums, and theme parks, the CAD208 meets typical installation sound reinforcement requirements: intelligibility, homogeneous coverage, and discreet integration. Usable as a full-range speaker, it can also be part of a more complete system, notably with the CAD115S which can be hung above a CAD208 array. For visual consistency in public venues, a wide range of colors is available, with options to adapt the finish to the environment.

Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?

The CAD208 is aimed at integrators, sound engineers, and operators seeking a compact line array solution capable of maintaining excellent clarity at distance without overloading the stage or architectural space. Thanks to its controlled vertical directivity (15 degrees), it facilitates coverage of listening areas by limiting energy sent to the ceiling and walls, a particularly useful advantage in reverberant venues such as gymnasiums, multipurpose rooms, and places of worship.

In practice, it is suitable for both fixed systems (main reinforcement, front fill, seating areas) and installations requiring increased resistance to ambient conditions. Its UV-resistant material and IP44 rating enhance operational reliability in spaces exposed to light, humidity, or temperature variations.
