The Most Discreet Format in the PREMIUM PRO Range
Designed as the most compact in the PREMIUM PRO family, this speaker aims for a simple goal: to offer a reliable and consistent sound solution when space must remain minimal. It aligns with the series' philosophy with a field-oriented approach (transport, setup, versatility), while maintaining the expected fundamentals in sound reinforcement: controlled directivity, suitable connectivity, and construction designed to withstand the demands of live performance.
Note: You can benefit from a 5-year manufacturer's warranty upon registration, subject to the manufacturer's conditions.
Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?
Thanks to its compact size and even dispersion, this speaker is particularly suited for small stages, rehearsal spaces, mobile gigs (DJ, events, speeches), and contexts where clean sound coverage is desired without multiplying sound points. It can also serve as a stage monitor or satellite in a setup with a subwoofer when a modular and easy-to-deploy system is sought.
It is aimed both at musicians and technicians who want a compact "plug and play" speaker (easy installation), and at organizations needing a homogeneous and easy-to-manage speaker fleet. The MonoTilt mount facilitates orientation on stands, practical for optimizing front-of-house intelligibility in tight rooms.

Questions frequently asked
What amplifier power is recommended for a HK Audio PRO8?
An amplification of 2 x 300 to 450 W RMS at 8 Ω is recommended for this 300 W RMS passive speaker.
Can the PRO8 be used without a subwoofer?
With a frequency response of 89 Hz to 19 kHz at ±3 dB, the speaker covers the essential spectrum useful for vocals, keyboards, or acoustic instruments. A subwoofer can complement the system when more extension in the low frequencies is needed.
What is the dispersion pattern of the HK Audio PRO8?
The constant directivity horn provides 80° coverage horizontally and vertically. This even coverage is suitable for small stages and rehearsal spaces.
How to mount or hang the PRO8?
The stand mounting is done via the 36 mm MonoTilt socket. Three M8 inserts allow the use of optional rings with the reference SHK ILEB8. The dimensions of 27 x 42 x 27 cm and the weight of 9.7 kg facilitate mobile setups.
Is a cover included with the speaker?
A protective cover is provided. The two Speakon connectors enable connection and daisy-chaining of the speaker.
