Hohner C943337 - MELODICA SUPERFORCE 37 BLACK

A Hohner Classic in the Lineage of Modern Melodicas

Invented and popularized in the 1950s, the melodica has established itself as an accessible and musical wind instrument, appreciated both in music schools and on stage. With the Superforce, Hohner offers a version with a sober and elegant look, focused on the essentials: an extended keyboard, immediate handling, and a design meant to accompany the musician everywhere.

For Which Musicians and Styles

The Hohner Superforce is aimed at beginners seeking an easy-to-handle instrument, as well as intermediate musicians looking for a reliable melodica with more notes to develop harmonies and arrangements. It is particularly suitable for variety, pop music, reggae, cinematic atmospheres, and learning (sight-reading, ear training, breath-fingering coordination). Its 37-key format offers real freedom to switch from melodic themes to accompaniment.

Sound and Design

Thanks to its 3-octave range, the Superforce easily covers high melodic lines while retaining lower supports for chords. The keyboard is described as soft, responsive, and precise, facilitating note production and articulated playing, especially for fast phrasing. Its black body enhances a discreet and versatile aesthetic, suitable both for classrooms and stage performance.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The Superforce comes with a padded case, so you are already equipped for transport. For maintenance, a soft cloth (for the keyboard and body) can be useful to maintain a good playing feel and keep the instrument clean after use.
