Hohner MELODICAS 94321 STUDENT 32 BLACK C DO

A Hohner Classic: The "Music School" Spirit Since the 1950s

Invented in the 1950s by Hohner, the melodica established itself as a pedagogical and portable instrument, adopted both in conservatories and for leisure playing. The German brand has developed this concept in several formats, and the Student 32 is at the heart of this tradition: a model designed to be reliable, stable, and immediately accessible, while remaining sufficiently musical to accompany more advanced levels.

For Whom and Which Styles?

The Hohner Student 32 is perfectly suited for beginners thanks to its pleasant keyboard and quick handling, but it is also appreciated by experienced musicians seeking a simple, effective, and easy-to-carry melodica. Its range and responsiveness make it a good companion for variety music, contemporary styles, pedagogy, as well as for performances in brass bands or ensembles when an expressive and direct melodic voice is desired.

Sound and Design

As a fully acoustic free-reed instrument, the melodica produces a clear and straightforward sound, with a natural attack and good note clarity. The Student 32 stands out for its high airtightness, a key feature to maintain stable sound production and limit air leakage, which facilitates breath control, consistency, and note sustain. Its easy-touch keyboard promotes precision, while its black body in a compact format remains discreet, robust, and travel-friendly.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

Delivered with a hard plastic case, the Student 32 is ready for transport. For routine maintenance, gentle cleaning of the mouthpiece and tube after use helps maintain impeccable hygiene and a pleasant playing feel.
