A Hohner Classic, Born from the Melodica Tradition
Invented in the 1950s by Hohner, the melodica quickly established itself as an instrument that is both fun and educational. Appreciated in music schools for its immediate playability, it allows one to approach melody, phrasing, and breathing with a logic close to keyboard instruments, while maintaining direct breath contact. Within the Hohner range, the Student 32 has built a solid reputation: a stable, reliable model that has become a reference for those seeking a simple, effective, and durable melodica. For Which Musicians and Uses?
The Hohner Student 32 is suitable for both beginners (learning, lessons, home practice) and intermediate and advanced musicians who want a practical instrument to carry around. Its range and layout facilitate playing melodies in variety, world music, educational repertoire, and even simple keyboard parts in groups (workshops, light brass bands, school ensembles). It is an excellent choice for developing ear training and intonation, while fostering clean articulation through breath control.Sound and Design
Fully acoustic, this melodica offers a direct response: the sound emerges quickly, which helps control attack and note sustain. Its good airtightness contributes to easier and more consistent sound production, useful for achieving more stable playing across the entire range. The keyboard with easy touch promotes fingering precision and limits fatigue during extended sessions. In terms of design, its red body asserts a dynamic look, while its size (42 cm) and light weight (580 g) make it a truly portable instrument.Recommended Compatible Accessories
The Student 32 comes with a hard plastic case for transport and protection. For maintenance, a soft cloth (for cleaning the body and keys) is generally useful for daily care.Technical specifications

For the price, I expected better sound quality than the entry-level 20 euros that I already had. It's not a big difference, but it does
