Instamic Pro Plus C: A Zoom Solution Designed for Mobile Sound Recording
The Zoom Instamic Pro Plus C follows the "all-in-one" logic: an ultra-discreet lavalier microphone that also integrates a true recorder, timecode management, and wireless control. In this Mono version, the goal is clear: to capture a centered, clean voice that is easy to edit, whether you are on set, reporting, or creating content.
Who is it for, and in what uses?
Ideal for videographers, documentary filmmakers, TikTok creators, interviews, weddings, streaming, and discreet recordings, the Instamic frees you from the constraints of a traditional transmitter-receiver system. It can also function as a wireless microphone with many camera ecosystems (including some Insta360, GoPro, and other compatible action cameras), while maintaining the security of internal recording.
Key Features: Sound, Sync, and Remote Control
32-bit floating point: easier recording, more flexible post-production
Recording in 32-bit floating point allows handling very wide dynamic ranges, from whispers to peak sounds, with a reduced risk of clipping. To fit your workflow, 24-bit is also available, with sampling rates of 48 kHz or 96 kHz.
Built-in timecode and multi-mic synchronization
Thanks to its high-precision 2.5 ppm clock and timecode support (internal, Atomos, Tentacle Sync), the Instamic facilitates audio/video alignment in editing. The app also allows managing up to 10 units from a single smartphone, convenient for multi-speaker shoots.
Mono and Dual-Mono modes: faster editing, better voice control
The Mono version offers Mono and Dual-Mono modes to secure your takes and simplify corrections in post-production, especially for spoken voice.
Designed to keep up: IP67, ultra-compact, immediate mounting
With its IP67 certification (rain, splashes, and immersion for 30 minutes at 1 m), its 4 omnidirectional MEMS microphones, and featherweight format, it adapts to on-the-go shoots. USB-C charging and about 4 h 30 battery life complete a fast, reliable, and discreet setup.
