Essential Information About the TL88ACE Tramontane Auditorium Left-Handed Cutaway Electro Guitar

  • Solid Engelmann Spruce Top for dynamic response, clear definition, and natural projection whether fingerpicking or using a pick.

  • Auditorium Format with Cutaway: comfortable playing seated or standing and easy access to the high frets, ideal for picking and precise accompaniment.

  • Complete Stage Lâg Electronics (3-band EQ, tuner, phase, notch) for stage-ready sound and quick feedback control.

  • Left-Handed Version designed for immediate playability, with refined finishes (carved headstock, elegant purflings).

A Tramontane Heir Designed for Upgrading

Presented as the worthy successor to the T80, the TL88ACE builds on the fundamentals that made the Tramontane series successful and raises the level of detail: solid top, consistent material choices, and more refined finishes. The design optimizations mentioned (notably those by Maurice Dupont) aim to deliver an expressive and balanced acoustic, particularly relevant in its electroacoustic folk category.

For Which Guitarists and Styles?

This electroacoustic folk guitar is aimed at serious beginners to intermediate guitarists seeking a reliable and inspiring instrument, as well as stage musicians wanting a simple-to-adjust plugged-in guitar. The Auditorium format suits pop, folk, songwriting, picking, and precise rhythm playing very well, offering comfort appreciated during long sessions.

The Sound

The solid Engelmann spruce soundboard provides a clear attack and excellent touch sensitivity: the sound opens easily, with beautiful definition in the high frequencies and good responsiveness to dynamics. The khaya used for the back, sides, and neck contributes to a warm midrange and a homogeneous output, while the Brown BrankoWood fingerboard and bridge promote a clear response and consistent sustain. When amplified, the Stage Lâg preamp allows quick balance adjustment (3-band EQ), stage-safe playing thanks to the notch and phase controls, and staying in tune via the built-in tuner.
