Context and Positioning
The result of several decades of research, the Anthem was designed to "capture the essence of the guitar" in amplification while maintaining the playing feel of an unplugged instrument. The concept combines a true internal microphone with an Element piezo to blend realism, solid low-end presence, and stability in live conditions.
Who This Microphone Is For
Ideal for acoustic guitarists who play amplified (concerts, rehearsals, studio) and want an organic, dynamic, and reliable sound. It is especially suitable for those who alternate between pick and fingerstyle playing and seek a discreet solution controllable at the soundhole without altering their playing technique.
Features and Functionalities
The Anthem uses a microphone positioned about 3 mm above the soundboard to take advantage of the boundary effect and reduce interference. The Element piezo handles the bass frequencies less present in the microphone, and the centered blend control allows you to get the best of both worlds. The control box provides access to two knobs (volume and mic/piezo blend), a phase switch to adapt the response to the sound system, and battery life indicators. Unlike the Anthem-SL, here the blend is directly accessible via a knob for quick adjustment on the fly.
