The Anthem SL CL is the classical guitar version of the Anthem SL. It combines an internal Anthem microphone and an LR Baggs Active Element piezo to achieve a realistic amplified sound while maintaining excellent stage control.

Ideal for classical guitarists who play amplified (concert, studio, stage) and seek a "like unplugged" feel. The microphone/piezo balance allows you to adapt the sound to your instrument and playing volume, with good resistance to feedback.
Features and Functionalities
The Anthem microphone naturally captures the timbre and attack, while the Element piezo handles the low frequencies that the microphone captures less effectively. Positioned about 3mm above the soundboard, the Anthem benefits from the boundary effect to limit interference. The system includes a noise-cancelling microphone to reduce unwanted and parasitic sounds, allowing only the true sound of the guitar to pass through.

Designed for classical guitar, this hybrid system combines an internal Anthem microphone with an LR Baggs Active Element piezo placed under the nut.
How to adjust the sound and the mic/piezo balance?
The volume is adjusted by a knob on the preamp installed inside the soundhole. The balance between mic and piezo is set with a crosshead screw. No equalizer is integrated.
LR Baggs Anthem SL CL: does the guitar need to be modified for installation?
The jack output fits into the original strap button hole. Enlarging this hole may be necessary, and professional installation is recommended. The Anthem microphone attaches under the bridge with the supplied double-sided tape, without superglue.
What battery is required for this system?
Power is supplied by a 9 V battery (not included), placed in the included nylon pouch and installed in an accessible area.
Is the system stable at high volume on stage?
