The X-Light4 is primarily aimed at keyboardists and DAW musicians who control their sounds via MIDI (master keyboard, sequencer, arrangement in a DAW). Thanks to its 108-note polyphony, it handles layering, splits, and accompaniments comfortably where notes can quickly accumulate.

In live contexts, it can serve as an additional sound module to expand your set without carrying an extra keyboard. In the studio, the USB-B (MIDI + Audio) facilitates integration with a computer for faster workflow, while maintaining a simple stereo RCA audio output to connect to a mixing console or interface. The 3.5mm mini-jack headphone output also allows discreet rehearsing, sound preparation, or routing monitoring.
