A modern bass head designed to focus on the essentials

This bass amplifier head takes a resolutely practical approach: plenty of power, a selection of immediately usable sounds and a compact footprint. Its compact format provides serious amplification without the bulk of a heavy rack or oversized head.

With 1000 W at 4 Ohms and 600 W at 8 Ohms, it offers enough volume headroom for demanding setups. It can power a single cabinet during rehearsals just as easily as a more substantial system for concerts, while remaining easy to transport in a suitable bag or flight case.

For mobile bassists, rehearsals and demanding stages

This head is aimed at bassists looking for powerful amplification that is quick to dial in and versatile enough to cover a range of styles. Its low weight is a real advantage for musicians who frequently travel between home, the studio, the rehearsal room and the concert venue.

Advanced beginners will appreciate its straightforward ergonomics, while experienced bassists can make use of the different voicings to adapt their sound to the song, the cabinet being used or the lineup. It is particularly well suited to rock, pop, funk, soul, metal, modern jazz and contemporary music projects requiring a firm, well-defined bass sound.

Thanks to the headphone output and AUX input, it is also a practical solution for practising silently. Simply connect an external audio source to play along with songs, backing tracks or exercises, without having to set up a complete rig.

12 voicings, footswitch control and comprehensive connectivity

The main interface is built around effective controls: Gain, Bass, Treble and Master Volume. This layout makes it quick and easy to adjust the input level, tonal balance and overall volume, without adding unnecessary parameters.

The tone selector offers 12 preset settings, arranged into three families. The four Vintage positions emphasize a rounder, warmer color, ideal for traditional lines and full-bodied sounds. The four Flat positions provide a more balanced response, making them a perfect neutral starting point for preserving the bass's character. Finally, the four Modern positions favor a more precise and dynamic response, suited to pronounced attacks and contemporary sounds.

The Mute and Boost functions can be controlled with a footswitch. Mute lets you cut the signal instantly between two songs or when changing instruments. Boost provides a simple way to bring a part forward, reinforce a section or add presence during a solo.

The front-panel effects loop, with two 6.35 mm Jack connectors, makes it easy to integrate external pedals such as a compressor, Delay, reverb or multi-effects unit. The XLR line output, switchable between pre- and post-EQ and equipped with its own volume control, simplifies connection to a mixing console, audio interface or sound reinforcement system.

Precise, solid and adaptable bass response

This amplifier head prioritizes a powerful, controlled response that retains its impact even at high volume. Its straightforward EQ lets you boost the low end to thicken the bass register or open up the highs to bring out the snap of the strings and the nuances of your attack.

The Vintage voicings deliver a more enveloping, organic bass sound, with a presence suited to rounded grooves and warm accompaniment. The Flat settings provide an excellent foundation for both active and passive basses, maintaining a faithful, balanced response. The Modern voicings are ideal for bassists who want greater clarity, definition and projection in the mix.

Paired with a suitable cabinet, this compact head provides the energy needed to maintain a firm, clear low-end foundation. Its lightweight format does not limit its ambition: it meets the needs of bassists looking for amplification that is portable, reliable and powerful enough to take on the stage.
