What the Moogerfooger MF-104S Analog Delay Is For
The Moogerfooger MF-104S Analog Delay is a delay plug-in designed to add depth and dimension to your tracks while maintaining a very lively analog signature. It adapts equally well to electronic productions (synths, drum machines, textures) as well as more traditional recordings (vocals, guitars, keyboards, drums), delivering an expressive sound even with subtle settings.
Thanks to its built-in modulation and behavior inspired by bucket-brigade delays, it also becomes a sound design tool: transitions, unstable ambiances, "moving" delays, tape emulation effects, and stereo movements (depending on your DAW routing) via automation and modulation.
Main Features
Flexible and Musical Analog Delay
The delay engine emphasizes the tactile sensation and how repetitions layer in the mix. Whether you seek simple thickness on a vocal, a short vintage-style slap, or long, enveloping repeats on a synth lead, the plug-in responds progressively and organically, with dynamics that are pleasant to automate.
LFO Modulation: Movement Without Leaving the Delay
The LFO-based modulation effect transforms the perception of the delay by adding movement to the timing and/or pitch of the repeats. This allows you to shift from a stable delay to broader textures close to chorus, flanger, or vibrato, without multiplying plug-ins. It is particularly effective on pads, arpeggios, clean guitars, and transition effects.
Virtual CV Connections for a "Modular" Workflow
Virtual CV connections are designed to go beyond classic automation. They allow fine control and modulation of various parameters, and especially to link multiple instances of the plug-in within the same project. The result: you can create interactions, coherent movements across multiple tracks, or complex evolving effects, while maintaining clear logic in your session.

Questions frequently asked
Is the plug-in compatible with Windows 10 and macOS?
The software requires at least 64-bit Windows 10 or 64-bit macOS 10.13. The recommended setup calls for 8 GB of RAM and an Apple Silicon or Intel Core processor.
How many activations are included with the license?
Three simultaneous activations are provided. The license is valid indefinitely. Activation can be done via iLok 2, iLok 3, or Machine License.
Is an iLok key required to use this software?
The copy protection supports iLok 2, iLok 3, and Machine License.
Does the delay allow creating chorus or vibrato effects?
Thanks to the built-in LFO, repeats can be modulated in time and/or pitch. This allows creating textures similar to chorus, flanger, or vibrato on pads, arpeggios, or clean guitars.
How do the virtual CV connections of the Moog MF-108S Clusterflux work?
The virtual CV connections enable fine modulation of various plug-in parameters. They also allow linking multiple instances within the same project to create coordinated movements.
