A "Best Of" Reissue That Condenses Morley's DNA

The Morley Analog Multi FX is conceived as a synthesis of the brand's major eras: an optical Wah in the Morley tradition, a more modern and flexible distortion, then a vintage-style modulation and delay section, all fully analog. The idea is not to multiply menus or screens, but to regain direct sensations, straightforward controls, and an organic tone, with an aesthetic reminiscent of the iconic chrome pedals of the 1970s.

For Which Guitarists and Contexts?

This pedal is aimed at musicians who want a minimalist pedalboard without giving up the essentials: an expressive Wah, a solid distortion, and tools to expand the stereo sound space. It suits both intermediate and advanced guitarists looking for a simple, robust, and quick-to-adjust solution for live use, while maintaining true sound quality in the studio.

In terms of styles, it naturally fits rock, blues-rock, classic rock, hard rock, and even funk (for the Wah), while offering broader stereo textures for pop atmospheres and more airy layers. The "all-in-one" format is also practical for rehearsals, shared backlines, and situations where traveling light is necessary.

Controls, Routing, and Practical Highlights

The Wah section operates with a switchless trigger: you engage the effect simply by pressing the pedal, and bypass occurs when you release. The optical circuit is designed to avoid the common mechanical wear found in potentiometer systems, making it a reliable Wah for intensive use.

The 2-channel distortion offers a comprehensive approach: bass, mid, treble EQ, pre-gain and post-gain controls, with a high gain switch option to go from a muscular drive to a more aggressive saturation depending on your needs. The effects loop (FX loop) is cleverly placed between the distortion and the chorus, allowing, for example, the insertion of a noise gate, EQ, or other dynamic processing before hitting the modulation and echo effects.

The chorus features speed and depth controls: perfect for going from a subtle thickening "doubling" effect to a more pronounced movement. The echo offers time, repeats, and mix controls to dial in anything from a short slapback to a more present delay. Used in stereo, chorus and echo gain significant breadth, very effective on a two-amp setup or routed to a mixer/interface with left/right outputs.

Finally, the built-in high-quality buffer helps preserve highs and dynamics, particularly useful with long cables, stereo setups, and loaded pedalboards.

Sound Character

The Morley Analog Multi FX emphasizes an immediate and organic response: the Wah is expressive and consistent, with a smooth control feel thanks to foot activation without a switch "click." The distortion, thanks to its 3-band EQ and gain stages, can range from a dense, tight saturation to thicker textures, while remaining responsive to your attack and guitar volume.

The chorus adds a very musical width, especially flattering in stereo to widen a clean tone or add depth to a crunch. The echo complements everything with a warm analog character, ideal for thickening a lead, supporting a riff, or adding depth without complicating your signal chain. Overall, this pedal prioritizes playability and coherence between sections, with a sound designed to "work right away" on stage.
