Pad and high-pass filter to secure your recordings
In practice, the pad (0 / -6 / -12 dB) helps preserve headroom before saturation on high sound pressure sources, while the high-pass filter (linear / 40 Hz / 100 Hz) allows controlling vibrations, footsteps, proximity noise, and rumble without relying on post-production processing. All controls are operated from the back of the microphone via the navigation switch and its LED display.
