An Ortofon cartridge designed for the new generation of DJs
The VNL was born from field feedback: Ortofon observed the needs of performing DJs who demand both durability, reassuring groove reading, and a consistent feel in routine use. Its design embraces DJ aesthetics while emphasizing durability and ease of installation.
For whom and in what uses?
This cartridge is aimed at experienced and professional DJs who play in clubs, battles, events, or studios, and who seek an efficient cartridge for scratching, back-cueing, and quick beatmatching. It is also suitable for mobile setups or turntables exposed to vibrations, thanks to its tracking-oriented design.
Features and innovations
Equipped with a spherical stylus, the VNL targets a relevant compromise between grip, tolerance, and vinyl preservation. The body has been crafted to facilitate mounting and alignment, in order to achieve clean groove tracking. Ortofon has also developed several stylus feels within the VNL family to help each DJ identify the stiffness and sensation that match their style.
