A Loft from the Signature series with Italian identity
This Paoletti Loft Signature electric guitar combines a double-cutaway silhouette with a distinctive choice of materials. The chestnut used for the body and top, the rectangular olive wood inlays and the Paoletti Nickel Brass pickguard create a visual identity that does not rely solely on its black finishing. The 400 Heavy Black color highlights the character of this Italian instrument without distracting from its design.
As part of the Signature series, this version brings together distinctive craftsmanship and components from renowned manufacturers: CTS for the potentiometers, Gotoh for the bridge and Kluson Deluxe for the tuners. The result is a cohesive proposition for guitarists looking for a personal solidbody, with accessible controls and a case matching the brand.
An electric guitar for rock, blues and expressive playing
This Paoletti is particularly suited to intermediate and advanced guitarists who alternate between accompaniment, riffs and solos. Its C-shaped neck profile offers a familiar feel, while the 628 mm / 24.72-inch scale length provides a relatively flexible feel with comparable string gauge and tuning. The D'Addario 10-46 strings provide a versatile starting point for working on chords, bends and more forceful picking attacks.
The key features a 304.8 mm / 12-inch radius, offering an interesting compromise between chord comfort and melodic playing. The 22 Dunlop 6110 frets and double cutaway support movement up the neck. Weighing 3.3 kg, this Loft can be suited to daily practice as well as rehearsals and live performances, depending on the musician's playing habits.
Two Alnico 5 Rock II pickups for exploring amplifier nuances
The amplified character of this guitar comes from two Paoletti Rock II pickups with Alnico 5 magnets, positioned at the neck and bridge. Both have a stated resistance of 8.1 kilo-ohms. This value alone does not define the output level or tonal color: the pickup position, its height and the amplifier settings also contribute to the result.
The neck position makes it possible to seek rounder tones for lyrical phrases and blues accompaniment. The bridge position generally provides greater presence and precision in the attack, which is useful for rock riffs and overdriven rhythms. The 3-way selector makes it easy to switch between the different configurations and adapt the tone to each part of the song.
The volume and tone controls use 500-kilo-ohm CTS potentiometers. They allow you to adjust the level and darken the sound directly from the guitar. Push/pull knobs complete the pickup selection; as their precise wiring function is not detailed, they should not automatically be assumed to provide coil splitting.
The solidbody chestnut body, roasted Canadian maple neck and pau ferro key form the instrument's mechanical foundation. On an electric guitar, their contribution to response and sustain combines with that of the bridge, the setup and the pickups. The bone nut and the Gotoh hardware complete this construction, whose tonal balance can also be appreciated through your amplification chain.
Recommended compatible accessories
A 10-46 gauge electric guitar string set, like the one fitted at the factory, is the most direct choice for maintaining a similar feel after replacement. As the Paoletti case is included, no additional case is needed for storage and transport. A soft, dry cloth is suitable for regularly wiping the strings and surfaces, without using a product whose compatibility with the finishing has not been specified.
