Inspired by the Club Standard
Designed based on the renowned CDJ-2000NXS2, the XDJ-1000MK2 adopts its "CDJ-style" ergonomics with large jog wheels and a clear interface. It stands as a high-end Pioneer DJ USB media player, ideal for modern booths seeking club reliability without a CD player. For Which DJs and Uses?
Perfect for resident DJs, mobile DJs, and preparation studios, the XDJ-1000MK2 excels in clubs, bars, events, and fixed installations. Ambitious beginners will appreciate its intuitive handling, while professionals will benefit from a consistent rekordbox workflow across multiple setups.Features and Innovations
The 7-inch touchscreen displays detailed RGB Waveforms and facilitates the selection of the next track with "Matching" (associated track suggestions) and "Track Filter" (filter by BPM, key, "My Tag," etc.). The Qwerty search speeds up access to tracks, playlists, and markers. On the performance side, set up to 8 Hot Cues, loop with millisecond precision using Quantize, jump 1, 2, or 4 beats via Beat Jump, and maintain energy with Slip Mode. Pro DJ Link shares audio and information between up to four players and allows "Link Export" from rekordbox. Beat Sync, Beat Count, and Phase Meter ensure clean transitions even at high BPMs.
The audio section features Pioneer DJ's refined architecture: digital output to minimize conversions, separate analog power supply to reduce noise, and a color-coded USB port for instant media identification. The XDJ-1000MK2 can also be controlled via MIDI/HID, notably with the DDJ-SP1 controller (sold separately) for dedicated performance pads.
