PRS Ce24 Special Mccarty Sunburst Ltd

The CE Platform, Revisited in the 2025 Special Series

With its bolt-on neck, the CE series is known for its crisp attack, responsiveness, and "direct" feel under the fingers. This 2025 CE 24 Special takes the concept further by combining the PRS signature with a richer pickup architecture, designed to multiply tonal colors without losing the instrument's identity. The "Old School Birds" inlays and Signature logo complete an instantly recognizable aesthetic, fitting for this limited edition.

A PRS for Guitarists Who Want to Cover All Registers

This PRS CE 24 Special is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking an electric guitar capable of handling tight rhythms as well as expressive leads. Modern rock, pop, indie, funk, crisp clean parts, or dense saturations: the HSH configuration and access to intermediate positions make it a true "do-it-all" guitar. The Pattern Thin neck profile encourages speed, while the patented PRS vibrato inspires nuances, from subtle vibrato to controlled dives.

The Sound

The PRS 85/15 humbuckers provide a very usable balance: clear lows, present mids, and silky highs, with definition that remains stable at high gain. In the middle, the PRS NS-01 single coil adds clarity and bite, ideal for funky attacks, precise arpeggios, and airier textures. Thanks to the 5-position selector, you can switch from a full humbucker sound to more scooped and articulated combinations, perfect for standing out in a mix.

On the craftsmanship side, the mahogany body + carved flamed maple top combine warmth, sustain, and definition, with a dynamic response that highlights right-hand playing. The PRS Phase III locking tuners enhance tuning stability, working in synergy with the PRS vibrato, making the guitar reliable during playing and temperature changes on stage.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The guitar comes factory-strung with 10-46 gauge strings: a similar 10-46 set is therefore a safe choice to maintain the intended feel and tension balance. It is delivered with a Premium Gig Bag, convenient for daily transport.
