A Signature Designed as a Sonic "Playground"
The PRS Fiore (meaning flower in Italian) was born from a collaboration with Mark Lettieri, with the idea of offering an electric guitar capable of evolving with a musician: responsive, lively, and versatile enough to support the development of a personal sound. Within the PRS lineup, it stands out for its "player-first" approach: a direct, inspiring instrument that emphasizes dynamics and expressiveness without sacrificing precision.
For Which Guitarists and Styles?
The FIORE targets intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a high-end solidbody, equally comfortable in funk, pop, fusion, rock, and blues. Its 25.5" / 648 mm scale length delivers a sharp attack and tight low end, ideal for precise rhythms, while the 10" / 254 mm radius facilitates clean bends and smooth playing across the neck.
Sound Characteristics
The swamp ash body is renowned for its quick response, well-defined lows, and clear highs, resulting in a very "alive" feel under the fingers. The maple neck and maple fingerboard enhance attack and clarity, particularly useful for articulated lines and complex chords. On the electronics side, the combination of a Fiore-H in the bridge and Fiore-S pickups in the middle and neck positions allows switching from biting, singing tones to rounder, percussive sounds, with a wide range available via the 5-position selector. The two push/pull tone controls add practical variations to shape the tonal character and adapt the guitar to the mix, from crisp cleans to detailed crunches.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
This guitar comes factory-strung with 10-46 gauge strings, so you can stick with this gauge to maintain tension/attack balance or have an identical set as a spare for stage and studio. It is delivered with a Gig Bag, convenient for daily transport.
