Two footswitches enable selecting A or B, then activating the Both mode to send the signal to both 6.35 mm jack outputs.
How to eliminate a ground loop with two amps?
The B output features a switchable isolation transformer and a ground lift switch. This configuration aims to reduce hum caused by ground loops. A 180° phase inverter is available when the isolation is engaged.
Is power required for this ABY pedal?
The passive audio path operates without power. A 9 V DC center-negative supply of at least 120 mA is used only for the status LEDs.
Can a tuner be plugged permanently into this ABY switcher?
A separate Tuner output in 6.35 mm jack format remains active at all times, allowing a tuner to be left connected.
