Essential Information About the Radial DiNET DAN-TX and DAN-RX Network DI Boxes

  • Stereo DI designed for audio over IP: transport of 2 channels via Ethernet network using the Dante protocol

  • High-resolution audio: conversion and transmission at 24 bit / 96 kHz to preserve detail and dynamics

  • Simple connection of your sources: analog inputs RCA, 6.35mm Jack, and 3.5mm mini-jack on the DAN-TX (instrument, laptop, line-level source)

  • Professional output and monitoring: output via balanced XLR on the DAN-RX + built-in headphone amplifier for monitoring and troubleshooting

DiNET DAN-TX / DAN-RX: Radial's Philosophy Applied to the Dante Network

The Radial DiNET DAN-TX and DAN-RX follow a simple logic: maintaining the practicality of a DI (direct box) while benefiting from the flexibility of a modern Ethernet network. The idea is to replace long analog runs with Dante transport without giving up the field connections that musicians and technicians rely on daily. True to Radial's reputation for robustness, these two units are designed to withstand the demands of challenging setups, both in the studio and live environments.

Who Are the DAN-TX and DAN-RX For?

This duo is aimed at users who need to remotely send a clean stereo signal quickly and without compromise from point A to point B: control room to stage, stage to technical racks, workstation to recording room, or even distant areas within a building. The DAN-TX is ideal for connecting an instrument source, a laptop, or a line-level player, while the DAN-RX allows you to recover the signal at the right location with balanced XLR outputs suited for professional environments.

In an installation where multiple spaces share the same audio network, this system also becomes a very practical tool to make a source available "where it's needed" without reconfiguring an analog infrastructure. Live, it facilitates routing a stereo playback, a line-output instrument, or a specific monitor feed to a distribution point. In studio and post-production, it helps integrate external sources (computer, player, synth, etc.) while maintaining clear cable management.
