Remo PS-0312-00 - PINSTRIPE CLEAR 12

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

The Clear Pinstripe belongs to the family of drumheads designed for drummers seeking an immediately controlled sound, with fewer unwanted harmonics and a solid feel under the stick. It is positioned as a relevant choice when aiming for a more "produced" sound without systematically relying on dampening accessories.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

This drumhead is intended for beginner to advanced drummers who want to quickly achieve a deep, stable, and controlled sound. It works very well for "punch"-oriented settings in rehearsal, studio, or on stage, especially for Pop, Rock, and R and B grooves.

Features and Innovations

Its construction with two plies of Mylar promotes durability and naturally limits sustain. The result is a tolerant drumhead that simplifies tuning and helps maintain a shorter note while preserving a clear attack.

Sound Characteristics

Thanks to its double-ply design, the Clear Pinstripe emphasizes a more pronounced low-frequency spectrum and a more controlled behavior. Harmonics are attenuated, providing a rounder response and better-focused projection, particularly effective for toms and snares with a "fat" character.
