Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Rohema Percussion is a family business renowned for manufacturing drumsticks and percussion instruments since 1888. This shaker, made in Germany, reflects a handcrafted approach focused on reliability, musicality, and refined finishing, suitable for both serious playing and musical awakening.
Who This Drum/Shaker Is For
This shaker is suitable for beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians seeking a simple, effective, and expressive instrument. Its ease of handling and immediate response also make it an excellent choice for education and rhythmic initiation, including for children from 1 year old (under adult supervision).
Features and Innovations
Its short format and comfortable diameter promote precise playing (short movements, accents, regular patterns). The beech/Bubinga combination offers a good compromise between lightness, rigidity, and tactile sensation, allowing natural control at low or high dynamics.
Sound
Beech contributes to a warm and balanced response, while Bubinga, a denser wood, enhances the feeling of solidity and definition. The result: a versatile medium tone with a clear attack, pleasant grain, and even projection, ideal for acoustic settings, studio use, or accompanying cajon and percussion.
