Keyboard Design
The GP-3 features a progressive hammer action with escapement, designed to replicate the feel of a grand piano: a sharper attack in the bass, lighter touch in the treble, and better note repetition. The Ivory Feel surfaces provide a more natural sensation under the fingers and help maintain control during fast passages. The velocity sensitivity faithfully conveys your nuances, allowing you to work on dynamics, articulation, and control of legato as well as staccato.
Sound Quality
The "Piano Reality Standard" generator aims for a lively piano reproduction, with a musical response and consistent timbral variations according to your playing. The optimized speaker system is calibrated for the GP-3's compact cabinet to offer immersive and balanced sound projection, useful both for solo playing and accompanying rehearsals at home. The lid opening also allows you to modify the overall tone, as on an acoustic instrument, to adapt the sound to the repertoire and the room.
